Welcome to the WA - Prior Learning Assessment Wiki!

This site began as a place for Washington Prior Learning Assessment (WA-PLA) workgroup members to share background information and other resources to move toward implementing recommendations made in the SSB 6357 2010 report to the legislature (see sidebar), and to address goals set forth in ESSHB 1795 (2011) now codified as RCW 28B.77.230.

The site is continually being updated as PLA in Washington expands and grows. The wiki is open for viewing by anyone interested in the work of the PLA Workgroup. See the menu bar on the left for notes from past meetings, reports, and many other resources.
